The technology sector has been nominating who Computer Weekly should consider for their list of the 50 most influential women in UK tech, and Polly Barnfield, CEO and founder of Maybe* and the #WDYT campaign has made the long list.
The nominations list features over 160 women who have contributed to the technology industry and have helped to increase the number of women working across the tech community.
This year, for the first time, Computer Weekly have published the full list of everyone nominated, to recognise the increasing breadth and depth of important roles carried out by women in IT.
Previously, Polly has received an OBE for services to Philanthropy in the UK, using technology to tap into a free revenue stream for UK charities.
Next week, Computer Weekly will publish their expert judges’ decision of which 50 names will go forward to a reader vote to decide the most influential women in UK technology.
Congratulations to all nominees, we look forward to seeing the shortlist.
